This Low Post Bed is handmade of solid cherry with an acorn post design.  The posts are turned from beautiful solid 4” cherry.  The headboard is made from an amazing 18” wide piece of cherry with “cats paw” figure. All the cherry for this bed is matched or cut from the same log to ensure perfect color and grain balance throughout.  We use the finest hardwoods available today on beds and the other custom furniture we make. This piece is finished with a protective hand rubbed finish that has a nice soft glow.

    We make custom beds in any size to the style you like.  This bed  is a double, and made to accommodate a very large box spring and mattress. Sizes range from single to king and they are made to order to accommodate your mattress/box spring combo  We use solid wood throughout and time tested joinery to ensure a piece will last for generations.   Solid Walnut, Mahogany, Tiger Maple and Birdseye Maple all would be fantastic choices for a custom bed.  Beds are made with a mortise and tenon and bed bolt combination for easy disassembly when and if you ever need to move the bed.
